AWARDS CEREMONY

WHEN: MID April

WHERE: Virginia Run Community Center or STONE MIDDLE SCHOOL

TIME : 7-8:30 Friday Evening

Issue community service patches to all the girls, leaders that participated in the projects through my workshops or kits.

Certificates issued to outstanding citizens and volunteers that helped in the workshops.

Decorated clay pots created earlier this month by girl scouts used for decorations and awards

Organizations it will benefit: It will benefit the girls that participated in the community service project workshops. It will give them a sense of accomplishment and encourages them to participate in next years workshops. As they get older they can help prepare the workshops, deliver the items and enjoy working with the community.

Cadette Troop 3113 will carry on the workshops next year. They volunteered this year to assist in the workshops this year, so they would know how to continue them next year and give them a good idea for future workshops. My hope is that with the other older girls that assisted this year to earn their junior aide or leadership hours will volunteer to assist in the workshops next year.
