10. New Hampshire has three granite “heads.” They are Indian Head, Elephant Head, and The Old Man of the Mountain. The Old Man of the Mountain is the most famous. Who discovered it, what happened to it, and when?

11. Although New Hampshire has the shortest ocean shoreline of any state in the US, Hampton Beach has had many celebrities perform. Name the group of islands that poet Celia Thaxter founded—and where Blackbeard buried his treasure. Who discovered it and what was the original name?

12. There are 107 mountains in New Hampshire. Some are named after Native Americans and many are named after famous people. One group of mountains are called the “Presidential Mountain Range” - name each mountain in this range.

13. Many people in New Hampshire are very talented crafts people. Make an item that would be made in New Hampshire such as: pottery, wood work, sewing, cooking, quilting, and painting. For extra, research pictures of New Hampshire crafts.
