All levels need to only complete 3 requirements

CELEBRATING 100 YEARS OF SCOUTING PATCH AND BARS

Patch Item #100-YR-CELEBRATE $1.50 each

To earn the patch complete one scout activity or attend a meeting or event.

The bars were created to note the items you participated during the school year. [2012-2013]

To earn the bars follow the below requirements:

1.Cooking Fun- Participate in ONE of the following: Learn how to measure liquids or solids for cooking, help someone cook or bake something, decorate cupcakes or cookies, make a healthy snack, , help cook at home, attend a cooking event, cook as a group by making a pizza or snack together, or participate in baking or cooking related activity.

2. Arts and Crafts- Participate in ONE of the following: drawing, painting, weaving, paper crafts, yarn crafts, stamping, tye-dying, scrapbooking, or participate in any arts and crafts activity.

3. Beautiful In and Out- Participate in ONE of the following: learn about skin care, create lip gloss or bubble path to pamper yourself, do something that makes you feel good about yourself, create a healthy food or snack, take care of your body inside and out, design an outfit on paper or create an accessory for yourself or friend, or participate in beautiful inside and out related activity.

4. Community Service- Participate in ONE of the following: create something for the needy, blankets, cards or gift bags; help organize a community service event, collect something for those in need, coats, food, books or pajamas; attend an event that has community service activities; or participate in any community service related activity.

5. Exploring Outdoors- Participate in ONE of the following: hiking, picnic, campout, outdoor cooking, outdoor games, water games, swimming, letterboxing, horseback riding, OR participate in any outdoor related activity.

6. Fun and Games- Participate in ONE of the following: Play a game, make up a game, complete a puzzle, organize a game event, participate in a sport or game themed event, play a board game, physical, mental or hand eye coordinated game, OR complete any activity game or fun related.

7. Holiday Celebration- Participate in ONE of the following: Attend a holiday party or celebration, participate in scout birthday, parade or scout celebration, Juliette Low birthday, Seasonal holidays or an special event OR activity that is holiday or celebration related activity.

8. Field Trip- Participate in ONE of the following: Go on a field trip, visit a zoo, farm, or petting zoo, take a behind the scene tour, visit the police station or other community areas, attend a field trip with a group or friend, OR complete any activity that involves a field trip.

9. World Cultures- Participate in ONE of the following: Learn to count in a different language, participate in Thinking Day, learn more about another country, help another country, try on costumes from other countries, read a cultural story, be a pen pal, OR complete any activity that you learn about other countries.

10. Cookie Sales- Participate in ONE of the following: make posters, participate in cookie sales, design your own cookie recipe, attend a cookie kickoff event, learn about marketing, budgeting and setting goals for profits, booth sales, sale door to door, OR participate in any cookie sale related activity.
