Hungary used to be part of Austria. Hungarian folk dress is very colorful and heavily embroidered. Puffed sleeves are common for women, and a vest and long flowing sleeves are worn as part of the males clothing. Women have brightly colored dresses, and bright headdresses.

Located on the patch is Hungarian Parliament Building, one of Europe's oldest legislative buildings.
The main façade overlooks the River Danube.

One of the famous parts of the building is the hexadecagonal (sixteen-sided) central hall. The Holy Crown of Hungary is displayed there.
