Hi, my name is Kara, and I live close to the Nile River in Egypt. I live in a part of the Pharaoh’s palace because my mother works for the Pharaoh’s wife. The Pharaoh’s wife likes using makeup and perfume, so my mother’s job is to think of new perfumes and bottle them for her. I help my mother with this job everyday.
