2. Caroline has learned to speak special sailing words and phrases. Try to learn a few sailing words as well. Examples include: port, starboard, and fore.
3. Use a compass or a map and follow the instructions on how to get to a camping site or trail at your local park. [adult supervision]
4. Play a game or board game that includes a map or clues, travel, boats, or the compass points.
Examples include: Ticket to ride, all aboard, destination USA, twenty questions, etc.
5. Draw a map from your sidewalk/street to your bedroom. How many steps is it to your room?
