When a coat is no longer needed, make sure you make an effort to pass it on to someone in need. The value of a warm coat on a bitter cold day is a priceless gift.
Organize a coat drive in your area or start a competition within your group. You can set up boxes at banks, schools, libraries, and other local areas.
Be sure to get permission from the facility prior to collecting coats there.
Donate coats to your local homeless shelter, women's shelter, assisted living, orphanages etc.
Please contact them ahead of time to get a list of their needs prior to collecting coats. Don't forget to reward everyone with this laser cut patch for their efforts of collecting coats for those in need.
